Getting Back Into Season; Fantasy Preview

With the NFL season just around the corner, people have very high expectations. Last year was an exhilarating season to watch, which ultimately ended in the Eagles dismantling the Chiefs' hopes of a threepeat in a blowout 40-22 victory in Super Bowl LIX. Now with kickoff in just under a week, fans' hopes are at their highest.

The 2025 season has the potential to be one of the best ones yet, with all the new talent arising in the league. The rookie class, starring Travis Hunter, Ashton Jeanty, Cam Ward, and more, seems to be one of the most stacked draft classes. After seeing how the rookie class from last year performed so well, fans are eager to see if this class can top last year's.

Currently, the Ravens are the betting favorites to win the Super Bowl because of their talent being as good as ever; however, it is still anyone's game. The Ravens fell short to the Bills in the divisional round last year and are hoping to have a bounce-back season this year with another MVP-caliber season from Lamar and Derrick Henry leading the league, even in his 30s. But with all the rising stars, like Jaden Daniels and the young Commanders, expect chaos during the regular season, as things will not go as expected.

Fantasy football undeniably makes the game of football more fun to watch. The tense feeling you get when you need your flex to score 17.2 points on Sunday night can't be replicated anywhere else. Fantasy, of course, is impossible to predict, as things change drastically from the beginning to the end of the season. Currently, Jamaar Chase is the consensus #1 player in fantasy, but the chances of that happening are slim with the potential breakouts of other players yet to come.
